The PR Lighting booth was one of the major destinationpoints of this year’s PALM EXPO 2013, held in Beijing earlier this month.
While the venue itself was divided into fivesections over 110,000 sqmetres, the Guangzhou-based lighting manufacturer displayed no fewer than 52 fixtures— eight of them being seen for the first time.
With 1,700 exhibitors displaying their waresto more than 50,000 visitors — a small increase on last year — it was a highly competitive environment, but it was PR Lighting’s innovations that ensured the stand remained a hive of activity throughout.
The booth was divided into several independent zones set behind the main reception area, with dedicated sectionsfor new products, hot sellingitems and LED Studio products.
Pride of place went to the new LED products,largely represented by the expanded XR series. The LED Spot moving headsincluded the XRLED 300 Spot, XRLED 500 Spot, XRLED 1200 Spot — along with theXLED 1061 and XS 1500 Wash.Other new products, such as the XR 230/330 Spot and XR 800 Beam featured alongside the recently launched LED Studio products series for broadcast, TV and photography.
Commented international sales director ErnieArmas, “Compared with last year, the number of global customers we welcomedonto the booth certainly increased. At the same time, it was noticeable that PR Lighting attracted a lot more media attention.”
He attributed this to the combination of high brightness and extensive features, measured alongside the low weight mass and low running costs of these new generation LED Spots.
